Client Manager

Hybrid (North East/WFH)

Up to £30k (OTE £55k)

Core Benefits:

  • Base Salary of £30k, which will be reviewed with the candidate once they have successfully passed their probation

  • We also offer a workplace pension scheme, performance-based bonus scheme and other incentives ran periodically throughout the year

  • Incentive of Friday off subject to targets being hit Monday to Thursday

  • Core Hours - Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm

  • 30 Days Holiday including 8 days statutory bank holidays, Christmas, New Year and Easter Holidays

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Plan and carry out direct sales activities business to business (principally cold call telesales prospecting with the possibility of elements of field sales to be agreed with the line manager) within budgets, sales volumes, financial targets, product mix and timescales

  • Carry out renewal business sales

  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by telephone and email (with the possibility of face-to-face activities upon agreement by employee and line manager)

  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support activities with records held on the company’s Customer Relationship Management system

  • Monitor and report on activities, provide relevant information to management, support in market research and share best practice

  • Liaise with management and other company assets necessary to perform duties, aid business growth and organisational development through such activities as 1 to 1 coaching, ongoing training and team meetings to develop relevant knowledge and skills

  • Follow the Third-Party Intermediary code of conduct as set out by industries and UK Law

 

Necessary Skills:

  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills 

  • Able to display research skillset to identify industry opportunities

  • Able to proactively research, produce, and maintain a sales database

  • Ability to produce a minimum of 120 outbound prospecting calls per day to build sales pipeline

  • Display strong sales skillset

  • Good working knowledge of administrative IT apps such asOffice 365 and third party CRM

Conditions:

  • Suitable home-working environment with access to reliable internet connection as the position is a work from home role

  • Resides within 20 Miles of Sunderland and is able and willing to travel/commute into Sunderland for training sessions/team building days etc and open to hybrid working should the business see fit to move from a 100% work from home model.
