As an Energy Consultant your role is to continue to help the business grow and acquire and develop a portfolio of business customers through outbound B2B selling. You will be responsible for the full sales process, from contacting prospective customers, identifying their energy requirements through to securing contracts. You will provide excellent service to your customers and develop a sales pipeline to manage future renewals.

The successful candidate:

  • Will make outbound calls

  • Sell our clients’ services

  • Identify the decision-maker within that company and make an initial introduction regarding services

  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.

  • The "lead" or potential opportunity is then managed by an experienced energy consultant and driven to convert into the sale.

  • You will receive reward and recognition for every sale made.

 

Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 1 year of sales experience in a cold calling environment and preferably with a background of generating leads for senior sales staff.

  • Energy sector experience is preferred but not essential.

  • Have a proven track record of success within a sales environment.

  • Be able to listen and question effectively, to overcome objections.

  • Be self-motivated and focused on continually achieving and exceeding targets.

  • Be able to work well under pressure.

  • Have a professional phone manner, with a resilient approach.
