£18-40k (OTE £80k+)

MCF Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of the North East's newest Energy Consultancies.  These guys mean business.  With Directors with a mass of energy sector experience, and staff in place that know the sector inside out, they have a winning formula.  With offices in Newcastle City Centre and plans for North East expansion, they really are the real deal and plans to become one of the major players in the UK.  

Our Client is looking to recruit experienced Energy Consultants to join the expanding organisation. We offer development & training throughout your career with uncapped commission.

Key Duties:

  • Manage a 360 Degree sale process (prospecting to securing contracts)

  • To make outbound B2B telesales calls to prospective customers

  • Convey the Lumina Energy proposition in a clear and enthusiastic manner

  • Build strong customer relationships by gathering all energy requirements

  • Display strong negotiation, influencing and closing skills

  • Explain termination requirements in a clear and precise manner and provide accurate customer quotations using pricing and comparison tools

  • Obtaining bespoke pricing from suppliers

  • Convert customer quotations in to meter sales

  • Manage all customer queries in a timely & professional manner

  • Manage all prospects within the CRM database in an efficient manner


  • Base salary ranging from £18 to 40k, depending on experience. 

  • Uncapped Commission

  • Training, development and continued support with genuine opportunities of career progression 

  • Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm with great work-life balance!

  • Have a minimum of 1 year of sales experience in a cold calling environment. 

  • Experience as an Energy Consultant is essential. 

  • Have a proven track record of success within a sales environment. 

  • Be able to listen and question effectively, to overcome objections. 

  • Be self-motivated and focused on continually achieving and exceeding targets. 

  • Be able to work well under pressure. 

  • Have a professional phone manner, with a resilient approach.
