Corporate Responsibility

As a responsible organisation, we encourage our employees to have a social conscious and understand the needs of the wider community and contribute in addressing those needs. Everyone within the organisation is encouraged to use their skills and time to help charities and voluntary organisations. Our initiatives are varied and include support such as:

  • We work closely with, and are actively engaged in fundraising efforts throughout the year with The Lord's Taverners. We support their efforts in creating a range of opportunities for young disabled people and those from deprived areas to engage in sport and recreational activities in their local communities, supporting some of the most marginalised and at-risk young people in the UK.

  • Improving people’s employability by helping them search and apply for jobs, write CVs, prepare for interviews and networking.

  • We offer people the opportunity of paid part-time or temporary employment as interns with 2 joining the company permanently in 2021.  

  • Offering an annual sponsorship to a grassroots sports club within the local community. Since 2021 we have supported the junior and academy sections of Willington Cricket Club, providing the volunteers and young players with playing and training equipment, practice and match clothing.

  • We have provided financial support to underprivileged families within the local community in order for them to be able to access grass roots sport, activities and exercise facilities.

  • An annual target of £10,000 to be raised for charities and causes within the North East.
